Forest Park Greenspace – An Environmental Art Project
The community greenspace in Forest Park is an environmental art project, featuring a variety of edible perennials across two circuits of a dozen circular garden beds. These 24 circles form a walkable labyrinth formed completely of natural materials. The cycles of change across each of these spaces are symbolic of universal realities.
Righteous Family hosts free outdoor learning workshops in this space, including gardening workshops, outdoor yoga, calisthenics, and (in the future) the occasional popup farmers market. This greenspace serves as a meeting point for local youth groups receiving free transportation to the Righteous Family wilderness camps in Stockbridge.
