Rumba means to dance! That means theres music playing live conga drums, claves, a guiro, couple cowbells and high spirits!
This island is full of people who love music and will start singing and dancing as soon as they hear music they love. The only problem is the people that know HOW to drum often leave their instruments at home.
That’s what makes Saturdays special in Rincon.
Rincon is a gem for the affluent. You can go there and be around others who need to get away from their culture at home and bask in the arts and scenery of the locals. The original people who were born and raised in that town still remember it before it was Gringoland.
Back then they were playing drums! So each Saturday for the last 8 years theyve continued a tradition of meeting and making music. Here all are welcome to come learn from Master drummers who have travelled the world with great ones on the strength of their musical ability.
If you want to party-its a dance club on a beach.
If you want to learn Ritmos del Mundo, its a University.
If you want to learn to hear & express yourself-its a dojo.
Will I see you, this Saturday?
