Whether it’s preventative medicine, or monitoring and treating the chronically ill, our professional team of animal enthusiasts can assist you in determining the best plan to get and keep your pet healthy.

West End Animal Wellness Center was started by Dr. Ashley Herbert in 2015. She has been in veterinary practice for 8 years.

Dr. Herbert graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She practiced small animal medicine at one of the largest hospitals in Atlanta before branching off to start her own practice. Dr. Herbert provides a unique tenderness and caring attitude needed to cater to her clients. She has been featured as the resident veterinarian several times on local news channels (Fox 5 and CBS 46) discussing a variety of topics. She has also participated in several informative web series from ask.com on pet health care. Dr. Herbert has also been the presiding veterinarian at Bark in the Park; a yearly event sponsored by the Atlanta Braves. Dr. Herbert also participates in community based activities and career days at several Atlanta area schools.
